Bali provincial government prepares a plan to build four toll roads. First one is expressway linking Denpasar-Soka-Jembrana. Second toll road is the highway that connects the Kuta-Soka-Tanah Lot-Seririt. The third is the highway that connects Canggu-Beringkit-Purnama. And the fourth is highway that connects Goa Lawah-Karangasem.
Assistant for Economic Affairs and Provincial Development Bali, Ketut Wija expressed
throughout the feasibility study of highway construction has been completed since the last few years. The biggest problem now is land acquisition.
“Government would not have the capacity freeing the most expensive land in Bali, now we try to inform people that we try to offer to the company Jasa Marga as toll roads and others, but until now there has been no interest,” said Ketut Wija.
