If you don’t know what is "Ngejuk Kucit", "Ngejuk Kucit" is Balinese for Piggy Catch. The Kuta Carnival was lively by this show. The participant very love this funny and challenging contest, and so with the visitor of Kuta Beach.

The committee of the contest said that the tourists are waiting for this contest/show, they are very enthusiastic. This unique competition is divided into two categories, namely men and women. Total participants of the competition a total of 6 men and 5 women who all come from Australia.

They will compete four children pig tails off in the arena. Arena, which is surrounded by cloth the size of 15 x 15 meters into the pigs are not required to exit the arena. The participants were all men with power efforts to pursue the pigs. Even a number of participants should be willing falling awake during the chase pigs.

Perhaps because of fear, the pigs is run anywhere and trying to flee. However, in a time not so long that all pigs can be caught by the men who average a hefty.

Different things happen in the women’s competition, the pigs are silent and would not flee. Maybe pigs are ashamed and fell in love.

Bali Asian Beach Games 2008 Logo

The Opening ceremony will be held in monumental park Garuda Wisnu Kencana in Nusa Dua, Badung. There are more complete article about Bali Asian Beach Games 2008 in Wikipedia.

I can’t watch it live because I’m not currently in Bali. I’m still working hard to finish my final project in Surabaya, the second biggest city in Indonesia (after Jakarta).

Well, it’s very nice that Bali was chosen to host this Asian event. This is very helpful to Bali tourism after what was happen in October 12, 2002. If you don’t know what was happen on that day, it was Bali bombing by terrorist, it kills 202 more people from many country. It also kills local people. Well, say no to terrorist (who would say yes ?? ).

There are also Bali Asian Beach Games 2008 Official Web site. You can find more information on that site. Well,

I hope the event will going well. Everything smooth :) .

On October 1st 2008, the moslem in Indonesia celebrate Lebaran. Because many of Indonesian people is moslem (Indonesia is not a moslem country, it is a multiculture country) the day become holiday. In some island who has many moslem, the holiday is 1 week starting from September 28 until October 4.

Because i currently live on the island (java) where there are many moslem, i got 1 week holiday too. Then, i spend my holiday in Bali. Yippee, i came home.

With my sister. I rent a car to go to Bali. The trip took 1 night. Depart at 6 PM and arrive at 6 AM. There are no traffic jam. Just a little bit. I arrive in my home at 7 AM. I take a rest for a while and i go take a bath.

At afternoon, i go for a walk. Looking for what the changes from the last time i came home. Not to different. But, Bali is getting more crowded. Maybe because this is holiday so there are people who go to interesting place (yeah, there many interesting place you can visit on Bali).

I just having fun for 1 week. No college stuff that makes me upset. Or any problem with the Surabaya’s roads (I hate Surabaya’s roads because it’s air pollution). After 1 week, i came back to Surabaya.

Facing back the college stuff and my final project which until now havent i finished.

Last year, i don’t know when exactly the day is, me and my Balinese friends went to Bedugul. What is Bedugul ? Bedugul is a Lake. There are also a Hindhu Temple. Here’s the photo of what bedugul looks like :

Hehe, the image above cannot describe what Bedugul Looks like. I took it from a bad place with a bad angle. Sorry, I’m not photographer. We are going to cross the lake to another side of Bedugul by boat. Well, here’s the pic of me waiting on the deck for the boat :

Which one is me ? I’m the one who wear eyeglasses. Found it ? good. Not a long time later, the boat came and the whole crew ready to enter the boat to cross the lake. Umm, why would we cross the lake ? I almost forgot to say that we are going to spend the night in Bedugul, so we rent 3 villas for a night in Bali Wanna Vila which is located on the other side of Bedugul. And boat is the transportation that we choose.

Once we arrive in the Villa. We don’t take a rest. We set up the fising rod and go fishing :) . At the night we make “Sate”. What is “Sate” ? Sate is a sticked of meat. We enjoy the night. And sleep at 2 a.m. Wake up in the morning, and we come home at 11 p.m. I’ve been wanted to post the story since last year. But i’m too lazy to post it on my previous blog since that blog is not related with vacation.

I have upload the pic at sharepic, but the upload time tooks so many time. When i type this letter, the shareapic still uploading. Well, i’ll update this post once i have finished the upload.
