Bali Homeland on December 11th, 2010

Assessed by an academic from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine University of Udayana show of about 50,000 cases of dog bites during 2010, an estimated 30 percent of them are at risk of rabies positive.

Transmission of rabies is so fast is predicted due to low traffic control dogs between districts, not to mention the Balinese society tends to move the dog that was in the incubation period. On the other hand the dog vaccination coverage in Bali is still below 50 percent.
